You are a city planner who is currently planning the world’s most perfect city. You have been assigned to assess the pros and cons of some of the world’s most influential cities in order to better understand what you need to form your perfect city. Your city can be located anywhere and can be organized in any way you believe is best. Remember, your city must include all of the most advantageous elements possible.

You will conduct a comparative analysis of the three major world cities listed above. Follow the directions and use the provided websites below to help you find the necessary information needed to assess what your city MUST have and what your city MUST NOT have. You will provide a geographical analysis of each of these existing cities and then showcase YOUR perfect city.

The Steps

1. Describe one city. You must describe it in terms of the development of its services (418-430), its statistical information (442-444) and any other one issue from chapters 12 or 13. You must include information from the pages listed in your answer. 2 paragraphs

2. Identify the site and the situation of each city. That is how does the city's location relate to its geographic features and then how does it relate to surrounding areas. Be sure to vocabulary terms terms when answering the question. 1 paragraph

3. Explain how a city model, theory or concept applies to one city. make sure to include how that theory applies well and where the weakness might lie. You must use specific information about your concept. You must fully explain your concept. You must include other vocabulary from this chapter in your answer. 2-3 paragraphs

4. Draw your perfect city! Include all of the issues you analyzed and include the following terms in relation to your perfect city. In addition to your drawing, you should also include a key and explanation of your choices. 3-4 paragraphs

Paragraphs usually have 7 to 11 sentences in them.
