Secularization is removing religious influence and putting more realistic views on things. In the article, students said the earthquake was the wrath of God, but its actually tectonic plates and all that. If all the kids can only go to really bad public schools, really expensive private ones, or free schools with a strong background in preaching the word of Islam, where do ya think the influence comes from? And if this problem is all over Pakistan, then there ya go.
