Written Portion

In regards to the powerpoints you are dong for the summer, make sure you are dong the written portion correctly. First, make sure to cite your sources and to do this correctly or at least as close to the correct format as possible. I will post an example tomorrow. For now look at the section of the class website dedicated towards writing style. You should find some help there. Secondly, make sure you are stating things in your own words. You will need to get your facts from other sources but then you need to put those facts into your paper to suit your needs. You also need to follow up you facts with insights that you can show about why that fact is relevant and important. Thirdly, make sure to incorporate some creativity into the powerpoint.

We will spend the bulk of our time looking for creative and insightful powerpoints. We will also doublecheck the internet to look for cases of plagarism.
