I posted up some answers to some question on EMQ#5. Look at the post below this one for that. Here, I am posting up the beginning of my review question set that will be due mid-January. I will have this finished by next week:

4. How do the phases of the demographic transition relate to the differences between folk and popular cultures:
-What areas tend to go with which phases of the transition
-How we know when a country is in a certain phase and how this relates to folk or pop

-Examples of areas that are in stage two or three and how they relate to folk or popular culture
-Examples of a country in stage four and how they relate to popular or folk culture
5. Using the population pyramids in the text (66-67), explain:
-How the pyramids exemplify what stage of the demographic transition the country is in
-How the pyramids differ from the other pyramids of the transition
6. What are the differences between a Malthusian and an Neo-Malthusian?
-Be Specific
7. Where are the major population centers and which areas of the world are having the fastest growth rates? (Look at page 76 to get started.)
